Doing Good So Far!

Well, so far I've kept up with my goal of taking at least one picture a day (you can check all of them out on my tumblr feed, the link is to right (the big Instagram logo))...

so, needless to say, there are a lot of pictures. Don't worry, I'm not going to share them all, I just thought I'd share the new girls who have arrived.

First up, the most AWESOME Monster High girl ever. Her whole body is sculpted as a skeleton, it's amazing. Poor girl will have to run around almost naked forever XD

There is an Iplehouse Jessica who is visiting for a faceup :)

My lovely Alna (on the left, a Normal Skin Alna) is finally reunited with her little sister, Bird (a White Skin Alna):

An adorable little Nendoroid has moved in who I have named "Mini Me"

Picco Neemo Koron also moves in, she's really adorable... and so is Forest Girl Miu, who has also moved in:

Another DD joined the ranks here, DD Sakuya, whose name is Robin! She was my #1 top dream DD girl... and I still can't believe she's here now!:

Then there are a few dolls visiting me... first up is Miki Hoshii (another of my dream dolls, lol, it will be hard to send her home again XD) Miki is on the right, and my girl, Jun is on the left, they get along quite smashingly:

Finally, Mei is visiting... she's another WS Alna... here she is hanging out with my two Alna girls (Mei is on the left, Bird in the middle and Alna on the right):

So, it's been a pretty busy time of incoming dolls!

For now, Pidge would like to show off her new dress,
and the purse I made!

The dress is made by Dollheart, but the purse is by me!

(There will soon be a Dia De Los Muertos one as well!)

This little skull purse is fully functional (the next pic shows it open)

and is entirely hand sewn using embroidery techniques!

The strap is a beautiful, silk, hand dyed ribbon with an extra silk, hand dyed bow tied on.

Here it is open, as you can see, it has a snap closure, and you can put

fun little dolly things inside!

Pidge: It's so lovely out... but getting cold. Maybe I need a scarf?

I just love this dress, it's so perfectly Pidge XD

Wednesday Horrors: Episode 2, Unwell

Episode 2:

------------------------------------------

 Today we find Pidge fretting over a slew of sick Neemos.

No one is quite sure what's going on...

but there seems to be a flu that has hit the Neemo community hard.

Pidge: Oh, you guys, are you sure you're comfortable?

Does anyone need more tea? Snacks? Blankets?!

Anna: Calm down, Pidge *coughcough*

It's just a little *cough* flu, we'll be fine.

Bunny: *cough* Yes, don't worry, Pidge, it's the flu.

Kana: *coughsnifflecough* I feel dizzy @_@

Bunny: It's the plot of this show, it's very confusing.

 On the screen, Pretty Little Liars plays, but most of the Neemos
are only vaguely aware that the TV is even on. It's mostly there
to comfort Pidge, she loves this show (even though it makes her nervous).

Carrot: *her voice is barely a whisper* Pidge... I... I don't feel very good.

Pidge: Oh! Little Carrot... you don't look so good!

You're so pale! I'm going to find help!

Alna: Did I hear somebody call for help? I have arrived!!

Pidge: *hops off the couch and runs over to Alna* Oh Alna!

Alna: What is it?! You're even more nervous than usual!

Pidge: It's the Neemos, they're all sick... and Carrot looks REALLY bad!

Alna: That's not good... weren't they fine yesterday?

Pidge: Yes, it came on all of a sudden.  ;_;

*Alna and Pidge go over to check on Carrot*

Alna: Oh, little Carrot, you look terrible... and Luna! You look so pale!

Luna: Oh no, I'm always pale.

Anna: It's true *cough*, she is... but Carrot looks *coughcough* a little pale. Will she be ok?

Alna: *places a hand on Carrot's forehead* Oh! She's burning up!

 *At the other end of the couch*

Bunny: Will Carrot be ok, Jun?

Jun: *pats Bunny's head* It's just a little flu, sweetie...

I'm sure she'll be up and running in no time.

*Suddenly, though, Carrot starts wildly thrashing about*

Pidge: OH NO! What's happening?

Anna: Carrot? CARROT! Something is wrong!!!

Luna: This is NOT Nargels.

Alna: HOLD HER DOWN!

 *As quickly as the thrashing begins, before anyone can even
move to react, it stops. Carrot is still, and the room is silent,
except for the quiet murmuring of characters on TV*

Alna: *whispers* Carrot?

 Jun: Oh my goodness... is she ok? Did she have a seizure?!

Alna: Carrot?

Pidge: Alna... what is it? Why isn't she moving?!

Alna: *touches her hand to Carrot's forehead* Because... because she's dead.

Pidge is under the weather

Pidge: Oh, hi Heather!
Me: Pidge!! You look so pale today! What's wrong?
Pidge: Oh, I'm just feeling a little under the weather... although you would think that would make me look grey, or at least darker, since when you're under the weather there is no sun and the lighting isn't as bright... but nope, I guess I'm bright white when I'm "under the weather". *sigh*
Me: Uh... ok... but I have something that might cheer you up a little.
Pidge: Oh?!

Me: This lovely pink bag came for you in the mail!
Pidge: Really? Hmm, it seems like a rather irresponsible way to ship something... in a plastic bag, as lovely as that bag is... I'm shocked it even made it here! Why, just the other day I was telling Alna that...

Me: *cuts Pidge off* My, aren't you the talkative one when you're sick! You must have a temperature... but no, the bag wasn't shipped that way, it was packaged very carefully and responsibly in a mail safe box.
Pidge: Oh. I guess that's ok then... I mean, it's really nice for anyone to send me anything, so I want to make extra sure they send it carefully, because there is nothing sadder than a package ruined in the mail by other bigger packages that bully it around and smash it up and...

Me: OK!!! ENOUGH! GAH! Why don't you just open the bag!

Pidge: Oh my! Everything is so lovely! There's something for everyone too, and look at how thoughtful whoever this was is, they sent just the right stuff, why I'm sure Alna is needing more makeup and the Neemos always need more sugar, I should go and give it to them right now *giggle* although that's not too nice for you, but there is something in here for you too, and it's just what you need, well, really, it's just what we need, but it says you might share or write things for us or...

Me: PIDGE! OMG. You are rambling... RAMBLING!
How much of a temperature do you have???

Me: You're right though, look at how cute this stuff is (there is no way the Neemos are getting free reign over that bubble gum machine...) and omg, this person seems to know my weakness for writing utensils!!!

Pidge: This package is from Lily, isn't she so sweet and thoughtful and kind and adorable and everything she does is just perfect and...

Me: Pidge... what's that thing on your head?
Pidge: Uhm, I don't know, I thought I was supposed to eat it, but then I picked it up and it looked at me with eyeballs, EYEBALLS! So then I was like, "Maybe I shouldn't eat it" and I put it back down but it hopped up and sat on the top of my head and now I think it might be getting crumbs in my hair and that kinda makes me unhappy because I'm pretty sure it's sticky and...

Me: Pidge...I got it... I think it's time for you to lay down...

Pidge: I would love to lay down, Heather, I think that sounds like a really good idea, and maybe I could use some tea too, and toast, with jam, but first I need to open this package... the one that's specially for me, it's not for anyone else, Lily's note said so, it's just for me, so I need to open it, because not opening it would just be rude, and you know I hate being rude, it makes me feel even worse than being sick makes me feel... did I mention how funny it is that I get lighter when I'm "under the weather"?

Me: ... good heavens I hope you don't get sick often. Oooh, that box is beautiful though!

Me: That packaging is just AWESOME!

Pidge: *sniffle* Oh my, OH MY... *snifflesnifflesniffle*

Me: Pidge! Are you feeling worse?!

Pidge: NOOO! Look at how precious this is! It's my very own doll, I've never had a doll before and Lily sent my my very own and it's so beautiful and perfect and she has a cupcake and I wish I could have a cupcake and her dress is so pretty with flowers and pink coloring and everything about her is lovely and it's just too perfect and HOW DID LILY KNOW???? *WAILS*

Me: *takes Pidge's temperature* Oh, Pidge, your temperature is 102! No wonder you're going crazy! You need to lay down now!

Pidge: *sniffle*Ok *Pidge goes off to lay down and falls promptly asleep*

Poor Pidge, she was so sick and out of it, she didn't even realize that her new doll holds a secret note inside...

Pidgeon: A new 1/3 girl joins the flock

You've already met Alna,

well, now meet Pidgeon.

We call her Pidge for short.

She is a

DDS Ms. Mariko

and she's just moved in.

Here is her story:

A high school teacher on the weekdays.
A secretive cosplayer on the weekend.

Ms. Mariko.
She is our Japanese teacher, who is a little bit sweet.
Her class is really clear to understand. She is really knowledgeable and good with classic Japanese and claassic Chinese as well, though she teaches contemporary Japanese.
Moreover, she is kind and beautiful. So, she is a wonderful teacher who is popular among us students.
I think it's kind of cute that she's too short to reach the top of the blackboard.

But she feels a little reserved. I mean, her private life is mysterious because she has never told us about her hobbies and such. I wonder if she spends her days off reading some kind of difficult books or something.

Following Akira, "Ms. Mariko" makes her debut as a Dollfie Dream! She won the top prize in the Recruiting a New Character for the "Afterschool Akihabara Girls" as a part of the DD 7th Anniversary Seven Special Commemorative Projects!
A teacher at Moe's school and a secret cosplayer, this eccentric teacher, Ms. Mariko, joins the "Afterschool Akihabara Girls!" 

I'm not sure how much of this will come into play for my girl... I'm pretty sure she will be the school teacher for all of my Pure Neemos though! But secret cosplayer? I'm not so sure, LOL.
