Today

Today they subjected me to Gamma Radiation.

When the technician said they'd be using Gamma Radiation,
I couldn't help it,
I chuckled right out loud.

... but I didn't say anything.

I'm sure she gets Hulk references all the time.

In other news...

 A NEW PENPAL!!!!

My girl, Pidge (find out more about her HERE)

recently got a letter from the lovely Lily!

A while back, my other 1/3 scale girl, Alna, sent a
Valentines exchange gift to the girls at Lily's house...

and they've all kept in touch ever since!

The lovely gift bag in THIS post came from them!

But that was all before Ms. Lily even moved in.

So now that she has, my Ms. Pidge has been very excited to write to her...

but Lily beat her to it!

Me: Aww... so cute! Who is it from?

 Pidge: Well... uhm... -_-;;

Me: What is it?

 Pidge: Technically it's to Alna... and kind of to me...
because the girl who sent it was afraid you'd given me a boot.

Me: I think you mean "Given you THE boot"

 Pidge: Oh... ok, Alna was worried I was getting new shoes and she wasn't
... but Alna said it was ok if I took over this letter.
Is that really ok?

Me: Yes, If Alna gave you permission it's fine.

 Pidge: Oh! Oh good! It's from a Miss Lily! She is so cute!!
She did ask Alna if she liked being famous...
and Alna's response was "YES!" but that it made her
very busy, so that was why it was ok for me to write
letters back. I hope I'm not too boring. :(

Me: I'm sure you'll be fine.

 Pidge: I don't know... I'm not a rock star.

Me: Thank goodness for small favors...
this house doesn't need more than one diva.

 Pidge: What?

Me: Nevermind, we love you just as you are.

Pidge: Ok then! :D I'm going to go write a letter back RIGHT NOW!

Technical Difficulties

 

 *A screen appears in mid air at 12 Mariposa Alley, it is filled with the buzz of static*

 *The vague silhouette of a figure appears on the screen*

*The buzzing of static dies down and the figure comes into focus*

Anna: Chou! CHOU! Can you hear me?
I have a message for you!

 *The buzzing of static increases until you can barely see what is going on*

*Anna steps aside and a huge, dark shadow falls across the screen*

Elphaba: Ah... there we go... Chou!
Anna has asked the witches of the Majokko Shop to help poor Olive!

We have sent help, she should arrive any day!
There is one thing I have to tell you though...
The Neemo we've sent is very --------

*static begins to drown Elphaba out as she tries to give more instructions*

Elphaba: Oh crud... We have GOT to figure out what
is interfering with our communications!

*The crackling static gets louder
and you can only see vague forms moving on the screen*

Anna: Do you think they got the message?
Elphaba: I hope so, Anna, I hope so.

*The images on the screen are drowned out by the buzzing of static*

Me: Oh... what's this?

Me: Let's take a closer look here... Oh! Could it be, Macarons???

Me: It is!

Sahra: Oh Heather, what are these? They look so lovely!

Me: What?! Where'd you come from?! Get away from the Macarons... they're mine! MINE!
My preeeeeeecious.....

Sahra: You're weird... can I eat one?

Me: NO!

Sahra: But they're huge! Bigger than my head! I'd only take a tiny nibble!

Me: Oh... fine... a tiny nibble.

Sahra: *nibbles* Oooh, these are delicious... I think I could eat the whole thing!

Me: GAH! NO! PUT THE COOKIE DOWN!

Sahra: Tee hee hee hee! Just kidding! Thank you for letting me try them! Bye!
One nibble from each cookie was like eating a whole cookie for me!
Me: 0_0 ... who said you could try each one?!

Sahra: Hehehehe! *scampers off quickly*

Me: *whew* I'm going to have to eat these before the other Neemos show up!

I have been hunting all over Lansing for somewhere that sells Macarons... and was about to give up, when a friend of mine mentioned that she *thought* the bakery she got her wedding cake from, made them... so I went to check it out, and it's TRUE!

I got chocolate, cinnamon, pistachio, salted caramel and passion fruit.

Someone thinks I need help...

 Me: Hey, Kirino! What's up? You seem a little upset.

Kirino: Heather, I think you have a problem. We need to figure out how to get you the help you need.

Me: Huh?! A problem? What problem?

Kirino: You're carrying around a bag full of bodies 0_0

Don't worry, I won't call the cops.

Kirino gets so worried about the most amusing things. She seems to have this perpetual fear of being "caught" doing something... sometimes it's eating a cookie, sometimes it's playing a computer game, obviously this time she feared I would be caught for my bag of bodies!
She's too cute!

Me: Anna, wake up!

Anna: *yawn* Oh, hi Heather! I was just taking a nap.

Me: Yeah, sorry to wake you, but a package came for you!
*puts package contents down in front of Anna*

Anna: Whoa! Lookit all this! Who is it from?

Me: Your cousin, Chou.

Anna: Oh! Is there a letter?!

Anna: Oh my goodness! She wrote so much! I think I need to write her back a longer letter. T_T

Me: I'm sure your letter will be fine, no matter how long it is. It's not a competition.

Anna: Isn't it? ISN'T IT?! You know how family is!

Me: Uh... what?

Anna: I don't know, I saw this tv show where the family was very competitive,
so I thought that's how families were. Aren't they like that?

Me: No! Well... sometimes... wait, NO! No more TV for you, missy!

Anna: Aww, look, she also sent shells she collected on her trip! These are going on my shelf!

Anna: Oh, there was this little package in the letter too...

Anna: EEEE! Look! It's a necklace made from one of the shells she found!
How did she drill the little hole in it?!
Ok, now on to the boxes!

Anna: Mmmph!!

Me: Anna, you really need to be more careful. -_-;;

Anna: EEE! Earrings!! These are so cute!

Me: Wow! It was so nice of her to send you so many!
You'll have to share with the other girls.

Anna: I'm surprised Madoka isn't already here to nab some. -_-

Me: Er... me too, actually. That worries me.

Anna: I think Alna should wear the red bow... or maybe the pink bunny... I don't know.
Do you think she'll wear them both?

Me: Well, maybe not at the same time... but I'm sure she'll love to wear them. :)

Anna: Thank you SO much, Chou! Our package is currently on it's way to you... and my letter!

Make sure you follow the instructions on the letter's envelope. *nod*

Anna: I really, really, really love my new necklace! It seems perfect for a Geocacher...
to wear a necklace that is a found item.
It's just SO cool!

Me: Yes, thank you, Chou and Elly, you totally made Anna's day... and probably Madoka's too, if I could just find where she got off to... she's so... sneaky sometimes.
It's like she's everywhere and nowhere all at once. -_-

(Yes, I just cannot help but allude to Madoka's past almost every time I mention her...
it's like a sickness.)

I hate being sick!!

Not to mention I am having a second Ultrasound done of my Gallbladder... in less than a week... because I was given the wrong instructions when it came to fasting. >8(

I was told, by everyone, to fast from Midnight until my appointment.
Which I did.

What they REALLY meant was to fast for 12 hours (my appt was at 8 a.m.)... so, in I go again.

GRRRR!

But, on to happier dolly news.

Two new girls have arrived:

First is one of the little Majokko Witches I didn't have (I had missed the first two to come out, and recently found the following girl on flickr)

Sahra is actually part of Alisa and Anna's story (in the Pure Neemo world) and the three of them look so cute together that I'm sure they'll stay friends in my world too :)
