What to do with those stains?

I recently received a Pure Neemo body with very stained lower legs.

Yes, I can hear your shouts and cries now.

"Oh no! What are you going to do?! That Pure Neemo is ruined, Heather!"

Ok, so maybe you weren't shouting and crying...

maybe what you were really thinking is,

"OMG... where is she going with this already?!"

I wouldn't blame you, lol.

Anyhow, I decided, since the legs were already ruined,

I'd try drawing on them with Sharpie.

YES.

SHARPIE.

It's like the most big, bad taboo "no-no" word in doll history,

and I uncapped it and colored it all over this doll's legs.

 

Don't skewer me yet, hear me out.

The legs were already ruined, right?

 

So I was wondering if the hard plastic of the Pure Neemo

body is going to react more like softer My Little Pony plastic,

or if it's going to react like Munny plastic 

(in which you are encouraged to color on them in Sharpie)

Only time will tell... but in the meantime,

however long or short that might be,

my gal has some pretty cute leg tats.

the leg on the right had staining just like it, but Harry kindly covered it up.

I couldn't just leave the other side stained, so it got a little Patronus XD

Evidently, Yuzuha could care less. LOL.

Well, now she has a "Preorder" date!

(because of the time difference)

Second Announcement

So, when I first saw the second announcement... I had a moment of "WTF, Azone?!"

UNTIL I remembered that one year ago, the Nagoya "Grand Opening" doll was version 1.1

of this very same girl:

I'm not going to lie... I'm still a bit confused...

there's something about Majokko Mia wanting company?

So Koron got changed... I don't know, the translater is choppy on this one...

What I can tell you, from my own personal knowledge,

is that this is just Majokko Koron ver. 1.1, redressed in Majokko Mia's non-limited outfit.

(Literally, same eye color, same hair color, and exact same outfit my Majokko Mia came with)

 Did they have spares?

Why didn't they make this girl her own outfit?

Personally, I think Majokko Koron 1.1 (pictured above) is cuter.

Needless to say, I'm not sad that this one is a super limited that will be hard to get...

since I have no interest in her anyways.        She will be ¥12,000

Sometimes I really don't know what a company is thinking.

It's also amusing to me that they're all the sad faced Chiika, 

not a single one is smiley.

I really thought the whole Majokko series was over, and yet, here's another straggler!

Such a cutie! Even if we have seen 3 variations of her.

Although it would have been nice if they would have made her a different color kitty... since Version 1.1 is also a white cat.

Friday Funnies #1: Haunted Beginnings

Alright, guys...

I'm going to try something completely different on Fridays now.

Ever since I joined the Zine Challenge,

I've realized just how much I need to bone up on my
illustration skills.

So I thought a good way to do that would be to have a Friday comic strip
about The Majokko Shop.

Just some of the little story lines I've been thinking
about that are going on in the
universe where the shop exists.

This first one is a moment Anna and Prue had while
building the shop.

 (In case it's not clear, Prue has NO idea what's behind her)

Yeah, I know, it's pretty rough, and the poor girls hands look like mangled turds.

I'm hoping this gets better as I go along (although the hands were just me running
out of time because of other things that had been going on)

A while back, my other 1/3 scale girl, Alna, sent a
Valentines exchange gift to the girls at Lily's house...

and they've all kept in touch ever since!

The lovely gift bag in THIS post came from them!

But that was all before Ms. Lily even moved in.

So now that she has, my Ms. Pidge has been very excited to write to her...

I hate being sick!!

Not to mention I am having a second Ultrasound done of my Gallbladder... in less than a week... because I was given the wrong instructions when it came to fasting. >8(

I was told, by everyone, to fast from Midnight until my appointment.
Which I did.

What they REALLY meant was to fast for 12 hours (my appt was at 8 a.m.)... so, in I go again.

GRRRR!

But, on to happier dolly news.

As you can see, I liked Sahra's original name, and just kept it. A few of the girls have kept their company names... sometimes they just seem to suit them!  

Sahra is actually part of Alisa and Anna's story (in the Pure Neemo world) and the three of them look so cute together that I'm sure they'll stay friends in my world too :)

and she is just cute as a button.

A brief introduction, cut short on account of Nargles

Luna is our newest Neemo...

but she's our first White Skinned Neemo!

I've never seen the Azone WS in person before, and I have to say, it's quite lovely.

It's not a true white, it's still human flesh tone in color, just pale.

The Normal Skin flesh tone, compared to it, is very peachy.

Still, combined with the white hair, Luna's kind of like a little ghost :)

As with all of my girls from Azone's Majokko series, Luna is named after a witch.

This time, Luna Lovegood from Harry Potter:

Luna is possibly my favorite character in the Harry Potter kingdom. 

She lives in her own little world and doesn't really care what other people think of her.

She's enjoying life and that's all that matters.

I'm going to have to see if I can get my Luna a Luna Lovegood costume.

As you can see, she also came with a bunny ear hat, a hand muff (and a snowflake wand ~ Not pictured), all of which are very cute... but her outfit is so danged white, I might just have to change her out of it, for fear it will get stained... seriously... the WHOLE thing is crisp, clean white.
