Cu-Poche Madoka

Have you heard of Cu-Poche?

Neither had I, until I randomly stumbled on one on www.hlj.com

They're like Uber-Nendos XD

(although sorry, I forgot to take a box pic)

Lookit her... isn't she cute?!

But let's talk about her base... it's metal...

Why, you ask?

Because she has magnets in her feet!

She can stand on her own!

Already a million times better than a Nendoroid (who often can't stand without their stand)

But *should* you want to use her stand, it's awesome! It has not only the magnetic bottom,

but also the claw holder (and a back hole)... for ultimate action posing!

Let us take a moment to look at the Nendoroid Madoka side by side with the Cu-Poche Madoka:

Left: Nendoroid, Right: Cu-Poche

They're both cute... but I think I prefer Cu-Poche!

Also note that Cu-Poche has more joints, so you don't have to change out her arms all the time to get a different pose, as you do with Nendoroids. Cu-Poche Madoka also comes with extra faceplates (3 total) and extra hands (2 sets)... so she is like a Nendo in many ways.

But what if you didn't prefer Cu-Poche, what if you preferred the Nendoroid head?

Well, you can make them work together! The pegs are about the same size, so the 

Nendo head will fit on the Cu-Poche body. :)

Just one more advantage of the Cu-Poche over Nendos... they come with a bag to store your extra parts in, much like Figma do. :)

This is the first Pure Neemo I've seen with elf ears... which is kind of exciting...

BUT, I won't be ordering her, I'm not too keen on her outfit,

and I want to know how these ears attach.

I am *sorely* tempted to order this girl... but I've already preordered two Volks DDs coming out in August and a different Azone girl coming in June, so I've got to cut back... plus her rooted hair worries me (I can see myself battling to keep it styled and looking cute)... but man, seriously tough to pass this one up.

Why she's not a little red fox, I have no idea, it would have been more in keeping with the whole "Forest Animal" theme (since it's usually red foxes that are depicted with this type of style)

I think it turned out pretty cute for a prototype!!

There are some adjustments that need to be made, but overall, not too shabby!

And Miki's hair-do makeover turned out pretty cute too.

I kind of hate to admit it, but ever since I got Miki, something about her just BOTHERED me.

That something was her haircut.

It was lopsided, and no matter how much gel I added to it, it never looked as good as the one in the promo pics... so Miki didn't get played with a lot.

But I decided it was time that changed.

Madoka seems to really like Miki's new hairdo too... but then...
Madoka's always been partial to pigtails.

Well, Squeak was going to celebrate with Ella... but when the time came, she was nowhere to be found... whatever DID happen to Squeak??

Oooh! Shhh... let's not disturb her :)

Squeak now has several lovely diaries... but, the best part of her birthday, by far was the crayons that are JUST HER SIZE!!!

The two cute little crayon drawings came with the crayon set too!!!
