Do you ever take your dolls to work?

Do you ever take your dolls to work?

If you do, do you have somewhere special on your desk where they sit?

  1. Hello from Spain: when I work I do not have my dolls. I have a room with my entire collection. Fabulous picture. Keep in touch

  2. I guess I don't feel comfortable with having a doll or dolls at work. People touch things when I'm not there. Also, my doll collecting isn't something I share with everyone. It is great if others can do it but I could not.

  3. Oh no Heather, I'm retired! However, I do have dolls in my studio while I'm sewing, usually sitting or standing on my cutting table waiting for a fitting. :) BTW the diorama looks great.

  4. I used to have space for my dolls at work. I would bring my Kelly's since they are small and set them up in their spot. Since our office is smaller and space is at a premium they haven't been here. I do get doll deliveries at work so that counts for me :O)

  6. Mia does occasionally follow me to work, but most of the time she will be sleeping and wait for me to finish work before we go for a nights out. ^_^

  7. I am also retired now, but I never took my dolls to work when I was working. My boss was not the type of boss that would have thought that was appropriate. She barely let me put up pictures of my kids. When I was off work due to having surgery for breast cancer, she let others use my desk and took down my children's pictures and all my other personal items, so when I came back and saw this, it made me feel very uncomfortable as she never did that with anyone else. Glad I am not working anymore!

  8. The only time I ever took my dolls to work was when someone wanted to see them, otherwise, no I never really did.

I love the photo of the two girls. Looks like they are waiting for someone to make them a cuppa.

  9. I'm lucky I work from home so my dolls stand in the balcony and I can easily play with them anytime ^_^

  10. I've never worked in an environment that was conductive to having dolls or other personal items around. I did have things shipped to work and I stashed purchases made on lunch breaks until I went home.

  11. I work from home and sometimes have dolls as clients so there are always dolls in my workspace (and my bedroom and my office).
