Introduction of a new girl, review of Azone clothes and explaining my naming process

Another girl has joined the fold here at The Majokko Shop, but today her introduction will not be done by Twig (I know, I'm sorry... Twig is pretty good at them)

Her company name is:

[EX☆CUTE] Majokko☆Chiika / littlewitch of the heart

and my name for her is Bridget.

Now, I know there are a lot of girls living here, so I thought I'd break down the naming process for a few of the girls... because there actually is one.

Every single Pure Neemo who is from the [EX☆CUTE] Majokko series is named after a witch. Here are the girl's names listed, with the source for those names:

Prue: Charmed

Samantha: Bewitched

Sophie: Howl's Moving Castle

Bridget: Practical Magic

... I'm waiting for the day when I add one of the witches from Discworld. I *really* want a Weatherwax... but just haven't met the Neemo that fits that name yet XD

I was tempted to name Bridget "Tiffany" (Wee Free Men series)... but I just can't see this girl dealing with Nac Mac Feegle AT ALL.

All of my girls from the Madoka series just keep their names from the anime.

Simple enough.

Everyone else is sort of helter-skelter on name origin... so if their names come from a special source, I'll list it below: 

Kana and Anise are named after the two main human characters in my favorite online comic:

Nemu*Nemu

Pita is actually named after Peeta from The Hunger Games... I just thought, as a Neemo, his name would be cuter with the actual bread spelling.

Alice is named after Alice from Alice in Wonderland, which I love... and considering my girl's default outfit and name, this one *really* wasn't a stretch of the imagination.

Let's move on though... When Bridget arrived, so did some new fashions!
These are from Azone's newest collection for Pure Neemos:

Alisa is really loving her new outfit, and borrowing Anna's hat and shoes is a lot of fun. The skirt is actually part of a Bratz outfit, but all the rest of this outfit is Azone brand.

Anna is really loving her new outfit, it fits her great and she feels so stylish! This entire outfit is Azone brand.

This jumper was the only item I took issue with (and it was the most expensive too)... it's supposed to be for a S size body, but it's even big on the M size body. I'm a little unhappy with that. It's still cute, but it's a lot bulkier and not as well fitted as most Azone Pure Neemo clothes are. The top on this outfit is actually a Bratz top, but the rest of the outfit is Azone brand.

I am really in love with some of these and will have to buy more I think.

Meet Heather

The Neemos have all been pretty bummed because I got sick again and have missed posting a few of their entries that we had planned that were a bit more story based.

There is a tutorial coming up (possibly the world's most useless tutorial? LOL) and a post showcasing a new handmade product I found on etsy that I think Pure Neemo owners and Fashion Doll owners alike might enjoy.

All of those got pushed aside by illness, though, and the Neemos are mighty depressed.

So they wanted you to meet the sicky who is holding them back... to let you know that it's me, not them.

So without further ado, I introduce myself, Heather:

Oh... eh, heh heh heh... did I forget to mention that this is the Pure Neemo sized version of me?

According to the people who would know (boyfriend, coworkers, etc), it's me in Neemo form.

Yes, I know... how do I stand with such a huge head?

I often ask myself the same question.

Anyhow, this is a blank Obitsu 21cm WS head that I rooted with mohair and applied eye decals to that I purchased from www.junkyspot.com. The body is the 21cm Obitsu WS body... then I painted on the mouth and freckles, blushed her cheeks and pierced her ears.

VIOLA! Mini-me!!

 

[The Toy Box] Mini Lalaloopsy Suzette La Sweet

Hi again!

 I don't know what I've done, but Heather has gotten me more toys!!!

Well, more dollies, to be exact.

She saw how much I liked the other Lalaloopsy, and went and got me more!

This time she got me

Suzette La Sweet

who is just the most adorable little Lalaloopsy ever! Let's take a closer look!

Her little pink puppy is just so cute, and her pudding is PERFECTLY sized for us Pure Neemos...it's like she wants to share with us!!

Her cake and fan are adorable as well... a little small for Pure Neemo scale, but still workable... but the detail on the cake is really great!

Suzette La Sweet is one of the cutest LalaLoopsy I've ever seen... look at her pink frilly dress with the elbow length sleeves and ruffles, look at the ruffled socks and the pretty light blue shoes with pink bows... and her lovely white hair with pink ribbons!!! She's just so elegant!

Finally, there is the back of her box... how lovely is that landscape?? Wouldn't anyone like to live there?! I think I love the candy in the glass jars the best! I hope I have candy like that someday!!!

Skipping Sunday's Favorites

We're skipping Sunday's favorites today, because I wanted to share my entry for Shuga Shug's scarf giveaway... Sunday is upset about it... but she's the only one, so it's ok XD

You were supposed to take a photo of your favorite doll with your favorite scarf... well... I kinda love all my dolls... but Madoka was bouncing around going, "Oh me, pick me! Pick me!" ... so I did. :)

[The Toy Box] Toffee Cocoa Cuddles Lalaloopsy

Hi all! It's me, Madoka!

Today we're going to look at:

Heather said she saw this and thought I might like it.

SHE WAS RIGHT!!!

I love having a little ragdoll of my own!

Of course, these guys kind of remind me of Coraline... which is kind of scary... but Heather assures me that no one is after my soul... at least not anymore.

I don't know what she means by that "not anymore" bit, but either way, it's good to know.

Anyhow, Heather says they usually come out with special holiday Lalaloopsys at Target... but there wasn't one for Valentines Day, so she thinks this was their answer to Valentines Day... it just wasn't Target exclusive. Let's get a closer look at her, shall we?

 I really like her accessories!

Most of it is too small to be in scale with me (1/6 scale) but the chocolates could work nicely for a box of chocolates for a Pure Neemo!

I also really love the rest of her accessories... the little mailbox, flowers and puppy are SO cute... and very pink, which is one of my favorite colors!!

I never understand why they give Mini Lalaloopsy things to hold... when they have no way to hold them???

The back of her box is also awesome... and the boxes can be made into little mini dollhouses for the Lalaloopsy girls!

It kind of looks like the house the witch from Hansel and Gretel would have. I'm really scared of witches... even though I know some very nice ones now... they still scare me.

 Then there is the girl herself!

I love how she is pink with brown accents... you know I love anyone with pink hair... and she even has hers up in little pigtails, just like me! I wish I had a dress as cute as hers!

Anyhow, she's the only Lalaloopsy I have with eyes that aren't black... so that makes her special to me... plus I like how her dress looks like a cupcake, and how she has ribbons in her hair, because I have ribbons for my hair too... but it makes me sad to wear them and I don't know why.

I hope her ribbons don't make her sad too!
