Letters from Penpals

 Anna: zzzZZZzzzZZZ
Me: Anna, wake up!

Anna: *yawn* Oh, hi Heather! I was just taking a nap.
Me: Yeah, sorry to wake you, but a package came for you!
*puts package contents down in front of Anna*

Anna: Whoa! Lookit all this! Who is it from?
Me: Your cousin, Chou.
Anna: Oh! Is there a letter?!

Anna: Oh my goodness! She wrote so much! I think I need to write her back a longer letter. T_T
Me: I'm sure your letter will be fine, no matter how long it is. It's not a competition.
Anna: Isn't it? ISN'T IT?! You know how family is!
Me: Uh... what?
Anna: I don't know, I saw this tv show where the family was very competitive,
so I thought that's how families were. Aren't they like that?
Me: No! Well... sometimes... wait, NO! No more TV for you, missy!
Anna: Aww, look, she also sent shells she collected on her trip! These are going on my shelf!

Anna: Oh, there was this little package in the letter too...

Anna: EEEE! Look! It's a necklace made from one of the shells she found!
How did she drill the little hole in it?!
Ok, now on to the boxes!

Anna: Mmmph!!
Me: Anna, you really need to be more careful. -_-;;

Anna: EEE! Earrings!! These are so cute!
Me: Wow! It was so nice of her to send you so many!
You'll have to share with the other girls.
Anna: I'm surprised Madoka isn't already here to nab some. -_-
Me: Er... me too, actually. That worries me.

Me: Here's a closeup of them!
If you're interested in a pair,
please contact Retrograde and see if she has any left to sell!

Wall-E is fascinated by the earrings... I think he wishes he had ears.

Anna: Sorry, Heather, I couldn't wait, I opened the next box
and it was filled with these lovely barrettes!
Me: Oh, we'll have to see who looks good in them!
Anna: I think Alna should wear the red bow... or maybe the pink bunny... I don't know.
Do you think she'll wear them both?
Me: Well, maybe not at the same time... but I'm sure she'll love to wear them. :)

Anna: Thank you SO much, Chou! Our package is currently on it's way to you... and my letter!
Make sure you follow the instructions on the letter's envelope. *nod*

Anna: I really, really, really love my new necklace! It seems perfect for a Geocacher...
to wear a necklace that is a found item.
It's just SO cool!
Me: Yes, thank you, Chou and Elly, you totally made Anna's day... and probably Madoka's too, if I could just find where she got off to... she's so... sneaky sometimes.
It's like she's everywhere and nowhere all at once. -_-
(Yes, I just cannot help but allude to Madoka's past almost every time I mention her...
it's like a sickness.)

[The Toy Box] Toffee Cocoa Cuddles Lalaloopsy

Hi all! It's me, Madoka!
Today we're going to look at:

Toffee Cocoa Cuddles Mini Lalaloopsy

Heather said she saw this and thought I might like it.
SHE WAS RIGHT!!!

I love having a little ragdoll of my own!
Of course, these guys kind of remind me of Coraline... which is kind of scary... but Heather assures me that no one is after my soul... at least not anymore.
I don't know what she means by that "not anymore" bit, but either way, it's good to know.

Anyhow, Heather says they usually come out with special holiday Lalaloopsys at Target... but there wasn't one for Valentines Day, so she thinks this was their answer to Valentines Day... it just wasn't Target exclusive. Let's get a closer look at her, shall we?

 I really like her accessories!
Most of it is too small to be in scale with me (1/6 scale) but the chocolates could work nicely for a box of chocolates for a Pure Neemo!

I also really love the rest of her accessories... the little mailbox, flowers and puppy are SO cute... and very pink, which is one of my favorite colors!!

I never understand why they give Mini Lalaloopsy things to hold... when they have no way to hold them???

The back of her box is also awesome... and the boxes can be made into little mini dollhouses for the Lalaloopsy girls!

It kind of looks like the house the witch from Hansel and Gretel would have. I'm really scared of witches... even though I know some very nice ones now... they still scare me.
Then there is the girl herself!

I love how she is pink with brown accents... you know I love anyone with pink hair... and she even has hers up in little pigtails, just like me! I wish I had a dress as cute as hers!
Anyhow, she's the only Lalaloopsy I have with eyes that aren't black... so that makes her special to me... plus I like how her dress looks like a cupcake, and how she has ribbons in her hair, because I have ribbons for my hair too... but it makes me sad to wear them and I don't know why.
I hope her ribbons don't make her sad too!

[World Wide Webs] Nerea Pozo Diorama Auction

Nerea Pozo had done it again!
This time it's an uber cute little room that's called

~ Crafts and Roses ~

I wish I had half of Nerea Pozo's talents when it comes to making this kind of stuff... or, you know, repaints... or clothes making or painting... GAH... she's just SO talented!!!!!!

This room is for 1/6 scale dolls like Blythe, Momoko, yo-sd , Barbie and Monster High .

Also, you should check out Nerea Pozo's flickr account:
 and  her official website:

Here is the link to the auction, it starts at $250, which I think is more than fair for such a work of art:

[Stepping Out][Fluff N'Stuff] Hey Cavey!

Hey everyone!
Samantha: I just got this new Stardoll Accessory pack called Pretty n' Love!
It comes with two pairs of great shoes, these cute heart glasses, this rea....

Sunday: Hey. Sup?
Samantha: ... uh... who are you?
Sunday: Name's Sunday, and these clothes are mine. Why are you talking about them?
Samantha: What? This isn't yours! Heather bought this for the Neemos so we can have more shoes!
Sunday: Nope. Mine.

Samantha: No it's not! It's for us! FOR US!
Sunday: Sheesh, kid, calm down.

Samantha: Who are you calling "kid"?
Sunday: Listen, now... this is just an idea... but why don't you try talking about the shirt you're actually wearing, instead of my clothes?
Samantha: Huh?
Sunday: That shirt you're wearing. Looks special... you obviously got it from somewhere, right?
Samantha: Oh... yeah... it's a Blythe shirt from Hey Cavey!
Hey Cavey usually comes out with a new shirt every year for Blythe-con! They have a new one for this year too... I think this one was from 2010? Maybe? I'm not exactly sure.

Pita: Did someone say Hey Cavey?!
Samantha: What are you doing here?
Pita: Bringing over a Cavey! I heard someone say "Hey Cavey!" so I brought one over!

Samantha: He's pretty cute... *pats the Cavey on the head*
Pita: He is, isn't he? And each one is limited... in small or medium or big runs depending on, uhm... stuff. A lot of stuff. Too much stuff for me to know about.
Sunday: Don't be daft. The short runs, the ones where there are 10 or fewer Cavey, these days tend to be ones where the artist, Holly, collaborates with another artist. Medium runs tend to be holiday releases or random releases on her site (although even those numbers have been getting bigger lately) and the bigger releases (where there are usually 100 in the run) are when Holly sells the Cavey through specific shops.
Pita: Oh... that makes sense... how do you know these things?
Sunday: Because that's what I am, Pumpernickel, someone who knows things.
Pita: Uh... it's Pita.

Pita: Anyways... See, Holly numbers each one by hand, this one was number 20 out of 50!
He was the Zingy Green Cavey!
If you'd like to see all the Cavey released so far, and what numbers they were released in, you can go here:  http://www.heycavey.com/releases/#!prettyPhoto[inline]/22/
She releases them pretty regularly... and has a nifty countdown for them when they're about to come out! You can currently still purchase a few of the Cavey at her shop!

Samantha: Oh! I almost forgot to mention! The shirt has velcro up the back, so it's very easy to get in and out of! No head or arm removal required!!

Pita: Awesome! Let's go check out the Hey Cavey! website, ok Sam? We can see the new shirt!
Samantha: Sounds good to me! Below is what the front page looks like... and the website is:

*Samantha and Pita head off to check out the website*
Sunday:: Finally... you're mine, all mine... precious clothing....

Looks like Samantha might have some solid competition for fashion diva 0_0

[The Toy Box] McDonald's Build-A-Bear GIVEAWAY

I TRIUMPHANTLY RETURN!
Ok, so, I felt the need to declare it, since I'm the only guy, I have to declare things and sound manly.
Right?

ANYHOW! (See, I declared again... look at those cap letters... so manly!)
McDonald's has started in with a new Happy Meal toy, tiny plushies from Build-A-Bear.

That in itself is pretty cool... but what's REALLY cool (hah! I did it again!) is that they come with a coupon for a free shirt for your Build-A-Bear... that fits something close to the PukiFee and Lati Yellow size... which means it fits Pure Neemo too!
There is also a nifty $10 off a $30 purchase coupon :)

Not only that... but Build-A-Bear claims they'll be changing the shirt every week!
Is this a cool promotion for us 1/6ers or what???

Well, it turns out, for me, "what" is the operative word.
Thanks to Heather being ill, and not being able to drive... I can't make it to a Build-A-Bear.

So... if there is anyone out there who lives near a build a bear and is interested... it's giveaway time!
I will send you:
1. The Build-A-Bear you see pictured above
2. The Build-A-Bear free shirt coupon
3. The Build-A-Bear $10 off coupon

How sweet is that???

To enter, use the Rafflecopter below!
One thing though, this is a US only giveaway, since these are coupons for the US stores.

The giveaway will end on Monday, February 20th!
That is THIS COMING MONDAY!

I hope people are interested in participating!

[Don't Jump on the Davenport!] Hobby Lobby Chair

I was out shopping the other day, looking for wooden slats for a project that I'm working on with Twig, when I came across this chair:

It was in the clearance section of the craft store Hobby Lobby.
Do you have a Hobby Lobby where you live?
If so, I recommend going to see if they have any left.

It was originally $34.99 plus tax, but on clearance, it was only $5.
It's the PERFECT size for Pure Neemos and other 1/6 dolls.
I know a lot of you guys are Barbie collectors, so here's a picture of a Barbie in it too.

It's surprisingly light, and has felt on the feet, so it doesn't scratch your tabletops.
I recommend picking one up as soon as possible!
