[Repaint] These kids are such Bratz

Morning, everyone.

I'll bet you didn't know I did repaints.

I'm not saying I'm any good at them, just adequate.

I mean, it's not like I run a shop like my sister, Prue.

But, I do like to paint.

Now, when we think of Bratz dolls, most of us probably think of the big lipped, overly-done, huge eyed (ok, maybe I'm not one to talk on the huge eye thing...) girls who often dress like prostitutes.

(I can say this... because we steal a lot of their clothes, and trust me, one must be very selective when picking out a Bratz to strip... else she end up looking like she belongs on a street corner... of course... SOME Neemos wear those outfits anyways 

*cough*Sophie-and-Sam-in-the-HeartBreakerz-outfits*cough*

Typical Bratz Faceup: Even Angelina Jolie can't compete with those lips!!!

 I digress.

For Christmas, we ended up with a lot of Naked Bratz. Or, I should say, WE (the Neemos) ended up with a lot of clothes, leaving behind a lot of naked Bratz... so I decided to repaint them.

(FYI, if you're looking for Bratz, or Bratz clothing, the day after Thanksgiving at Walmart, there are $5 Bratz with pretty decent outfits)

I have no plan really, I'm just messing around, trying things I'm not willing to try on other brands of dolls that I've been repainting.

This first girl has lovely, straight brown hair and a medium brown skin tone.

This second girl HAD long, really messy blond hair, but I trimmed it into a shorter cut. I think she's cuter this way, but some might disagree.

These two girls are available for adoption if anyone is interested.

Obviously they would come nude (with their feet) and deboxed.

They are painted with professional grade Liquitex paints.

If you're interested, feel free to make me an offer.

Don't think any offer is to little, or that it will be offensive.

These poor girls just don't have a place here, and would rather move elsewhere!

[All That Glitters] Robot Mood Ring

 Good Morning, Everyone!

Sophie here!

I found the most amazing thing the other day while I was out shopping.

Do you ever just go into some random store you would never usually go into, and then just find the most amazing thing?

That is what happened to me!

I stopped into a 7/11, something I never do, because Pita, Bunny and Peapod wanted some potato chips while they studied, and it was the fastest stop on my way back from the mall.

ANYHOW! The point is, when I went up to the counter to buy the chips, I saw THESE!!!!

 

This picture shows just the one ring... it's the most changey mood ring I've ever seen!

It's so awesome!

But... what does a little girl like me do with a ring like this? 

(Too bad it's not going to fit on my finger)

The solution is simple :) I now have the coolest hair tie ever!

Adjustable rings make AWESOME hair ties!

[Such a Doll] Bratz Heartbreakerz Cloe & Jade

Oh! Hello!

I'm back again... I hope you're not sick of seeing me... 

but there are a lot of dolls around here lately!

Today we're going to look at some Bratz dolls.

We see a lot of those guys around here, because... er...

we can steal their clothes. 0_0;;;

Sorry, Bratz! I'm so so sorry!

But... we do. We steal their clothes all the time!

They fit Pure Neemos perfectly, and Mamachapp's too (which is what I am!)

PACKAGING

Anyways, here is a picture of the type of packaging they came in... this is Jade:

I really like Bratz packaging because it's easy to open. 

I like it when I don't cut my fingers opening a package!

The design of the package isn't anything spectacular... and here's my biggest gripe:

BRATZ ILLUSTRATIONS ARE A LIE!!!

When you look at the illustrations of the clothes on the package (because they don't put pictures of the acual doll)... they always show more, or better pieces than what you actually get.

Not usually a big deal... but when you're buying a doll who is wearing a closed jacket, and the illustration shows a shirt, and then you find out she doesn't have any shirt, well, 

that's REALLY annoying.

These particular Bratz dolls came with a star shaped hairbrush 

and a rose ring that had lip gloss inside.

Anyways, time to talk about the dolls.

I've never really been a fan of Bratz dolls... mostly because they don't have real feet.

Plus I've also found quite the variance in the quality of the plastic the head is made out of. It's really weird, but sometimes it's hard and crappy, and sometimes it's softer and fairly nice.

Jade and Cloe of the Heart Breakerz are the nicer head plastic. In fact, I'll go so far as to say that Jade is downright pretty. I like her makeup and eye style, and her vibrant hair and pale skin tone.

 Cloe isn't too bad either!

Somehow, despite the kinda slutty outfits, these two girls ended up with milder makeup when it comes to Bratz girls.

They each have hoop earrings to match their outfits.

The Cloe also came with what have to be the coolest Bratz shoes I've ever seen:

Jade's shoes were ok, but not as detailed as the Cloe's:

CLOTHING

Now on to the important part... the clothes!

I was very happy to find that the tights that came with these outfits were separate pieces!

That means they had elastic wastebands, and THAT means they fit the Pure Neemos!

Yes, the outfits are a little slutty... as per the long-standing Bratz tradition (although lately they've been making some downright normal clothes!), but they are Valentines Day outfits, so I think it's ok.
