Weekly Recap #1: Something New

So I've really been thinking I should have more "weekly"
posts... just so I can set little goals for myself...
so from now on I'll be attempting "Weekly Recap"

In which I share photos from the previous week.
(although I have to admit, some of these are a lie... since I didn't have a full week worth of stuff I wanted to post from last week)

10/28: Sometimes Mondays Just feel this way //  10/29: Mini-Me is editing a story
10/30: Playing Call of Cthulu by candlelight //  10/31: Proto-Pony is born!
11/1: (this one is a lie, I drew this today) but SkADaMo begins (Sketch a Day Month)
You can check out my blog http://littlebearries.blogspot.com to keep up with my SkADaMo
11/2: I took a knitting class! (yes, I suck at it) //  11/3: Proto-Pony is falling back.

For those who sew...

I've just got to share with you the cutest pin cushions ever!

©alleluja

Plus I'm super excited to get this one,
because it was actually a suggestion I made to the artist that she turned into a real product!

The artist is alleluja on etsy,
and she's been making necklace pin cushions for a while,
I have a few of them and they're lovely...
but they're kitties who end up hanging upside-down...
so, I suggested she make a bat (if the idea interested her)
since they hang upside-down naturally...
and she did!

Her packaging is super cute too:
First you get a lovely note and fun, mysterious package with business cards:

How cute is this little doodle?
It's touches like this that bring a smile to my face.

Look at how pretty the packaging is!

Wrapped up safe and sound inside is the wee bat!

And each pincushion comes with a cute, beaded pin :)

Anyways, yes, for those of you who sew, these little guys are so worth it :)

One bunny and a gleeful rendition of "Someone left the Christie out in the rain..."

Just a tiny sewing project I completed...
more bunnies to come:

It must be tough for her...
she has to do all the dirty work...
(aka, the stuff I'm not willing to let the Neemos do, LOL)

Go check out Christie's adventures here:
