What are your resolutions?

It's that time of year again!

Mini-Me wonders what your resolutions are!

Share your life and/or dolly resolutions for 2015!
We'd love to hear them!

Here are some of mine:

Doll Related:
•  Fine-Tune my WordPress Majokko Shop blog so that I can migrate everything over there...
or at least use it for SOMETHING! XD
•  Write the Majokko Shop story (aka, the story of Prue)
• Purchase a OOAK porcelain doll
• Make more doll clothes
• Do more photostories

Not Doll Related:
•  Work on Illustrations (I want to draw more)
• Earn $10,000 through etsy sales (BAHAHAHAHAHAHA... yeah, so not going to happen... but... uh, it's something to aim for, right?)
•  Work on store branding for my etsy shop
• Pay off all debt (also not going to happen, having just bought a house, about to have a baby, and needing to buy a new car... but hey, a girl can dream)

So yeah... lofty goals, and a few of them I know I won't complete,
but I'm hoping to make a dent in them!

  1. I can't wait to hear Prue's story, she seems like an interesting character. Also, by the way, I just started up my own blog if you'd like to check that out maybe. I'm also known as Casual Browser on instagram. What sort of porcelain doll are you thinking of getting?

    1. Following you via RSS feed :)

I'm hoping to get Prue's whole story written out this year XD We'll see!

The Porcelain doll resolution was a bit cheat-y... as I had already ordered her, and she arrived just today! I got a Forgotten Hearts doll... she's pretty dang cool.

  3. Happy New Year Heather! You're right when you say lofty goals, but hey I look at it this way, "If you aim for the stars and you fall short at least you reach the moon!!" :) Have fun and enjoy life.
    Hugs,

    1. It's a good way to look at it. Really, I'll be lucky to make $100 on etsy, lol... but hey, a girl can dream.

  4. Heather, are you planning to move to WordPress? I was generally happy with Blogger until I started using my phone as my primary means of internet access. You miss a lot here with the mobile version... for example, I didn't know there was a December Adventurers Club challenge until I saw it just now on the desktop version of the site. I don't know that WordPress is any better or different in that regard but I'm willing to consider other options.

Anyway, I've posted most of the hobby stuff on my blog but here goes my 2015 kinda-sorta-quasi-resolutions that I don't promise to stick to.

1- Post my GI Joe and Obitsu entries on blog.
2- Try to spend less on hobby stuff and make more use of what I have.
3- Sell stuff.... BWAHAHAHA! Yeah, yeah, OK... Sure!

The Mrs and I have have a tentative debt-reduction plan for 2015 and we need to move to a larger house in the not too distant future. Maybe not this year but soon because, with two kids, we've pretty much grown out of this one.

Speaking of kids, I hope you find time for your hobbies with your own family growing. While babies do require a lot of attention, toddlers are really the ones who challenge any notion of free time. Not mention sleep! You think it gets easier when the nightly feedings end and they have a routine. Then they learn to walk and open doors and crawl in you bed at 3:00 AM!

    1. I've heard that about toddlers, lol!

I hope I can keep it all balanced too, I imagine it's going to be harder than I can imagine, lol.
I read your resolutions on your blog, and I'm likin' em... I need to spend less and make more use of what I have too, or just be more creative in general.

I also need to see if I can go the whole year only buying 1 doll. HAH -_-
