Playing with a new lens

I recently got a new lens for my camera... and it is SO much better than my old one... here are a few pics:

Here is The Salacious Crumb looking annoyed.
He is an unhappy camper lately because his fur has grown back to it's full length while I've been sick. He prefers the lion cut. XD I also call him Fluffernutter and Crumbles.

Himeno and Miu :)

Himeno and Miu again.

Zinnia (Dollfie Dream Miki)
Her hair isn't that crazy... I was just having fun with filters.

Zinnia is such a happy girl.

Random Kitchen Shot.

These adorable Sylvania Family rement I bought years ago...
I so wish I'd bought more.

Waaaaaall-eeeeeeeee
He always looks so sad.

All the Tinies are belong to us!

Don't ask why...
but I brought all the Neemos, as well as the other Japanese 1/6thers
and put them all on my desk.

I think my pneumonia is getting to me.
(although, technically, I should have a pic of the Misakis in here too)

So, here's EVERYONE:
You can actually see two of the Misaki on the left, and my Blythe... those guys always sit on my work desk, so they were just hangin' where they always do.

Here are my three Sahra A La Mode girls, left to right:
Alisa, Yuzuha and Anna (Lycee)

Here are my two Pipi-Carat girls, Left to right: Peapod and Carrot

Here are all my Ex Cute girls:
Left to right, starting in the back row:
Smiling Chiika, Miu #1, Aika
Kana (Chiika), Sabrina (Lien), Luna (Raili)
Miu #2, Himeno, Alice (Koron)
Squeak (Chisa), Pip (Pico Neemo Koron)

The K-On girls :)

The Character Girls, although the Oriemo girl on the far right doesn't belong to me, she's just visiting, and my two Madoka girls are missing, as they are off in California visiting :)

The Mamachapps :)

The Unoa Light

and the three little Obitsu cuties.
The blue and black haired girls have Retrograde faceups,
the red haired "Mini-Me" has a combo of decals and face painting by me.

So... there you have it.
My desk full of tiny folk, dragged along with me in my pneumonia delirium.
Weehoo!

ANOTHER Majokko Chiika?!

Welcome to
Ex Cute Majokko Chiika ver. 1.2

Yes... that makes 3 of them -_-;;

Version 1.2 will be released March 23, 2013
Which, in the US where I live, usually means she'll come out around 8 PM on www.hlj.com the night before. Just do a search for "Azone" and list things in order of "Release Date" ... she should show up on the first or second page.

In case you forgot, here's a little photo recap from the Azone blog picturing all 3 versions:

Left to Right: Version 1.1, Version 1.2, Original (1.0?)
Seriously... what the heck?
Sometimes I really don't know what a company is thinking.
It's also amusing to me that they're all the sad faced Chiika,
not a single one is smiley.

I really thought the whole Majokko series was over, and yet, here's another straggler!

For anyone who is interested, here is how she'll come, default:

Such a cutie! Even if we have seen 3 variations of her.

Although it would have been nice if they would have made her a different color kitty... since Version 1.1 is also a white cat.

Fashion Royalty Norma Desmond Giselle Repaint

Someone asked me to do a little reworking of their
FR Norma Desmond Giselle.

Here is her faceup, straight from the company:

Like an idiot, I didn't take a "before" pic, so this pic is

And here is my reworking of her:

This was fun, and I really appreciate the opportunity!
I've never done a repaint like this before, and I think she turned out looking
so much more elegant than the original makeup.

Lowering those pupils makes such a huge difference 0_0

New Little Purses

I recently finished off two new purses, soon to be available in my etsy store,
but before I could list them, the Mori girls snatched them up and tried them out.

Miu: Look at this lovely little purse! It's just perfect, and just the right color!

Himeno: Oh yes, yes, mine too!

Miu: We even have a little Mori bear, hehe!

This adorable little bear is made by Ginger Brame of bearbits

Himeno: Do you think they'll make one of us ExCute girls into a little bear?
Miu: I hope so!

Spooky

Miu: What is it?

Miu in white: It's a book about the afterlife... and if science can prove there is one.
Or, if we have souls.

Miu: Uhm, I'm a doll. I don't even have internal organs.

Miu in white: Yeah, me too.

Hi all!

It is no secret that I love Puppy52 :)

My dolls all belong to the Puppy club!
(A club that, to the best of my knowledge, doesn't actually exist except in my little made-up world)

Here is Alna wearing a Puppy52 button

And Pebble wearing a lovely Puppy52 coat!
Puppy52 is an extremely talented seamstress!

Well, Puppy52 has a little sock tutorial that, as GreenTea on flickr demonstrates with this pic:

you can adapt to even your smallest doll!

[EX☆CUTE] Miu | animals in the forest / Rabbit

Hello!

I'm Miu... I'm part of Azone's new EX☆CUTE collection

Animals of the Forest

We're girls who wear "Mori" style clothing :)
What?! You don't know what Mori is?!

Well...
"Mori Girl fashion recently emerged in 2007 in Japan. Mori means "forest" in Japanese, and the style concept is "a girl who looks like she is living in the forest" The look is natural & earthy. The fictional archetype was declared as being the character of Hagu from Honey & Clover. The actual archetype of Mori Girl fashion is the actress Yuu Aoi, who as a matter of fact played Hagu in the Honey & Clover movie in 2006. Mori girl has developed not only as a style, but as a lifestyle as well! Quirky girls who love vintage clothing, pocket watches, tea, moss or going snooping in the grandma's attic will feel right at home in this fashion style. Although mori girl is natural, it does not mean it is simple! Mori girl does have a little bit of complexity to it."

This excerpt was taken from WikiHow's "How to be a Mori Girl" which you can read all of here:
